Illuminate Apothecary began with a simple goal to create clean, migraine-friendly home fragrances that feel good to use every single day. What started as a small personal project quickly evolved into a brand centered on comfort, connection, and honest craftsmanship.
Where it all started...
After years of relying on store-bought candles that often made migraines worse or left behind heavy soot, I knew there had to be a better way to bring scent into the home. I began experimenting with soy wax, clean fragrance oils, and eco-conscious materials, ultimately seeking a safer, more intentional approach to home fragrance.
Those early creations were meant just for my own space, but the more I learned, the more passionate I became about creating products that others could trust as well.
A new direction.
In October 2021, a defining moment at my corporate job pushed me to make a change. I stepped away from that environment and gave myself a month to explore candle-making more seriously. I started with a small lineup of five fragrances, selling at local farmers markets and connecting with people who shared the same desire for clean, cozy scents

Soon after, I brought my process to TikTok, making candles during the day and packing orders live each night. A community quickly formed, and what began as a personal escape transformed into a business built on trust, transparency, and real relationships.

Today, every candle, wax melt, room spray, carpet deodorizer, and bath soak is hand-crafted in small batches using:
